Music Video Update

So Rob and I are making some headway on this video project and I thought I would write and bring you all up to date on what's happening.  We had a fund raising concert on the 26th of September at our local community church (Dillon Community Church) which was well attended and turned out to be a great evening.  We had the help of Steve May on bass and Josh Stock on drums as well as the great backing vocals of Shane and Jason Ardell for which we are very thankful.  We felt a great feeling of support from the folks who attended (I think there was maybe around 35 people) and from their contributions we are now at very nearly a $1000 dollars into making this video happen.  It was very encouraging first step and we are very thankful for what has already been given us.   We are aiming to raise around $9000-$10,000 for the project as we would like to pay everyone for their work.  

Today we have another fund raising concert at the Next Page Cafe in Frisco from 4pm to 6pm.  We got some publicity from the local paper which if you are curious you can see here:  https://www.summitdaily.com/news/the-co-brothers-to-perform-saturday-raising-money-for-a-music-video/

We again have Steve May helping us on bass and we are very fortunate to have Billy Small on drums who is driving all the way up from Denver to play with us.  And we are also going to record the song today in Rob's garage :)

It's really great feeling to have these people jumping in and helping us.  

I have started working on a crowdfunding page (with the help of my wife Sonia) and I am hoping to get that up today as well (but maybe it is a tall order with everything else going on).   You maybe wondering when we are going to try to do the video and we don't have a specific date yet.  The sooner the better.  We have to coordinate multiple schedules which is a challenge but we will endeavor to get that time frame nailed down soon.  

Thanks again to all of you for your encouragement and prayers.  I love that this email is going out to people quite literally all the world and it the list has already expanded considerably.
